Adult childcare credit

Today is Financial Awareness Day (August 14th), and we thought, what better way to celebrate, than to provide you with some top tips around adult childcare credits?!

The legislation was introduced by the coalition government in 2011, which entitles some relatives looking after children – under the age of 12 – to a top-up allowance on their state pension.

It is estimated that 100,000 people could be eligible to receive this, but over 80% are missing out.

This not only allows parents to get back to work, but it also means those stepping up to assist with childcare are being provided with any additional support they may need.

In this blog with MMB Magazine, our director Victoria Hicks reveals how it works, who may be eligible and what you can do next. Read the full article here.
